Established in 1978, the ASSC is a not-for-profit membership organisation representing over 1,600 members and thousands of self-catering properties across Scotland. It offers expert guidance, advocacy, events, and practical resources to support and strengthen the sector. The ASSC works closely with key stakeholders including VisitScotland, the Scottish Tourism Alliance, and the Scottish Government, and is supported by around 80 business partners offering insight into sustainability, regulation, and development.
